About You
As a Storeperson, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth functioning of our stores and inventory management process.
Your primary objective will be to receive materials from suppliers and customers and diligently ensure the provision of complete and accurate kits of parts, all whilst being responsible for maintaining the integrity of our inventory and adhering to procedures to ensure accurate records of stock are continuously maintained.
Responsibilities

Continuous update and maintenance of systems ensuring to promptly book in items upon receipt, aiming to eliminate any backlog of materials

Assist in assembling kits to ensure a smooth and efficient production process

Organise stock in a well-structured manner to ensure easy accessibility and efficient retrieval

Participate in cycle counts to uphold stock accuracy

Ensure that no materials are removed from or transferred into the Store without adequate recording of the transaction

Actively contribute to the continuous improvement of processes, focusing on individual, organisational and customer benefits
Qualifications & Experience
-
High School Certificate or equivalent and/or at least 1+ year of experience as a Stores person (highly desirable)

Proven experience in Stores or inventory management within a manufacturing or warehouse setting

Proficient in computer use

Forklift license with combined forklift operation experience is advantageous

Familiarity with inventory management systems and a keen eye for detail in cross checking and updating records

Exceptional organisational skills with the ability to maintain a well-structured and accessible stock system

Good communication skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and leaders

Demonstrated problem solving skills with a focus on continuous improvement

Ability to work independently and as part of a team, ensuring accurate and timely task completion

Safety-conscious mindset

Good written and verbal communication skills
