We are rapidly growing and seeking a hungry and driven Business Development Manager (BDM) to join our dynamic team. As a true BDM at heart, you will excel in developing relationships quickly, while also possessing valuable experience in high-value orders and long sales cycles (12 months or more) in the electronics manufacturing industry.

Tasks & Responsibilities
-
Proactively hunt for new business opportunities and drive revenue growth
-
Proactively collaborate with the Company's Leadership Team to define ambitious yet achievable business development targets and budgets

Streamline and expertly manage all activities and interactions within our Sales tools, ensuring a seamless and efficient process

Provide comprehensive progress reports as required, offering valuable insights to drive informed decision-making

Conduct customer visits to identify new business opportunities and effectively promote Circuitwise’s end-to-end service offering, capabilities, and unique value proposition

Respond to tender opportunities, handle customer enquiries, Requests for Information and Requests for Quotations promptly and professionally

Analyse clients needs and seek to understand and address them through tailored solutions to meet their specific requirements

Collaborate with the Sales team to prepare accurate and compelling responses to quotation queries

Build and nurture strong relationships with existing and potential clients
-
Travel as necessary and attend trade shows, industry focus groups and other relevant sales events to enhance industry knowledge and develop strong relationships with key stakeholders

Engage in seamless collaboration with internal teams to ensure the smooth execution and delivery of projects
Qualifications & Experience
-
Bachelor’s degree in business, electronics engineering, economics, commerce or a related field is not a requirement but is highly regarded
-
Holds a minimum of 5 years’ experience in BD, Sales or Account Management
-
Demonstrated hunger for challenges and a proven track record of achievement in BDM roles or equivalent
-
Experience in selling or supporting Electronic Components, OEM Products, and/or Manufacturing Services would be highly advantageous and considered a valuable asset
-
A strong knowledge of the Defence & Aerospace, Medical Device, and High-End Industrial market sectors would be highly regarded and viewed as a significant advantage

Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a solid grasp on grammar and punctuation

Proficient in Microsoft Office products (Word, PowerPoint and Excel)

Strong attention to detail

Excellent project management and organisational skills

Exhibits high energy and self-drive to work independently, taking ownership of projects while maintaining exceptional self-motivation, resourcefulness, and professional presentation
